We now have a fully operating lending library for members. The books are organized and arranged by a color coding system according to the following categories:
Reference Books, Novels, Mysteries & Suspense, Biographies, Non-Fiction, Health and Cookbooks as well as a collection of Large Prints Books.
Come in and select a book or two and sign them out on the sheet provided. When you have finished reading your selections just return them to our library, cross the entry off and write in the date returned. Place the returned book on the returned shelf and we'll re-shelf it for you.
We also have a collection of VHS tapes on various Civil War battles and themes that have been loaned to the library for the enjoyment of Civil War buffs. Tapes may be viewed on the libraries large screen TV in the library room or borrowed for up to 2 weeks. The same procedure for borrowing books applies to short term borrowing of the Civil War Tapes.
The library is organized and maintained for Rosemarie Essig, Director of the Dennis Township Senior Center by volunteers. We acknowledge the work of Doris Schofield who has entered the collection into a database, Barbara Graham who classified the collection into coded categories and Bobbie Babbitt for the design of the Data Base and Coding System.
